Anki, Born in the Netherlands, I grew up as an expat in the Middle East and later studied and worked in London. After 10 years in IT and banking in the City, I left the rat race in 2004 for a sabbatical in Sri Lanka. Caught in the Indian Ocean tsunami that year, I ultimately returned and settled there.

Susan, brought up with dogs and cats all my life, don’t think I have ever lived without one or more at any time . I now have a collection of 15 dogs mostly stray pups who have been sick and taken home to nurse then they stay !. I also have 3 cats who think they are dogs .So you could say I absolutely love animals and it gives me great joy to know that I am helping unwanted animals here in SriLa
